Astrid Katherine "Kay" Frantz, age 81, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012.
Kay was born in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada.
Kay moved to Albuquerque where she met and married Sam in 1961.
Kay will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Kay is survived by her children, Sam and his wife, Laura of Charlotte, NC, Crystal of Albuquerque, NM and Robert and his wife, Marlene of Albuquerque, NM, brother, Harvey Seim of Alberta, Canada and grandchildren, Chad, Natalie, Kiersten, Jacob and Matthew.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel C. Frantz.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at French – Westside Chapel, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will take place at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM, at a later date.
