Charles E. Dehn, 94, of rural Marshall, died Friday, September 9, 2011, at his son's home in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Marshall.

Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall.

Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Born September 17, 1916, in Slater, he was the son of the late Edward Dehn and Caroline L. Eckert Dehn.

On June 9, 1951, he married Virginia Louise Sleeper who preceded him in death on November 6, 1999.

He had lived in Saline County his entire life and was a lifelong farmer.

He was a 1933 graduate of Napton High School where he had served as a longtime board member.

He enjoyed dancing at Saline County Fairgrounds and was an avid grower of gladiolus.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include three sons, one daughter, 12 grand-children; 5 great-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; one sister, of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
