He was a member of the American Legion of Tonganoxie, and the Ernestine Shumarin Heink Chapter of the D. A. V. in Kansas City. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Angell of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Ione Smoots, RR 1, McLouth; one son, Paul Peterson; a sister, Mrs. Myra Schuppan, Lincoln, Neb.; a brother, Chauncey Angell, Tonganoxie; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, 2 p.m. at the Quisenberry Chapel in Tonganoxie. Interment Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
