Mr. Charles Finis Murrah died at the home of his brother, Mr. Joe Murrah, on Friday, Oct. 22. He was born in Adair County, Oct. 30, 1876. He made a profession of faith early in life and was a devoted member of the Victor Memorial Baptist Church in Louisville of which he served as a deacon for the past six years. He was united in marriage to Miss Nannie Click, thirty eight years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by one brother, Mr. Joe Murrah, of this county, and three sisters, Mrs. Dave Bowen, of Knifley, Mrs. L. S. Carpenter, of Harwood, Mo., and Mrs. Myrtle Campbell, of this county. Funeral services were conducted at the Elkhorn Baptist Church by the Rev. D. L. Druien. Burial was in Elkhorn Cemetery.
