COLUMBIA - Services for Elfriede Elisabeth Grunn Abbott, 62, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Mrs. Abbott, wife of the late Richard L. Abbott Sr., died Thursday, Feb. 15, 1996. Born in Germany, she was a daughter of the late Elisabeth Spielmann Grunn.
Surviving are sons, Richard L. Abbott Jr. of Pelion and William F. Abbott Sr. of Columbia; a daughter, Linda A. Whitehouse of Virginia Beach, Va.; brothers; sister, and four grandchildren.
