Evelyn R. Allison, 94, formerly of 2463 W. TR 18, Tiffin, died Dec. 26, 2015, at Elmwood at the Shawhan, Tiffin. She was born Oct. 18, 1921, in Tiffin, to Glen B. and Rosa K. (Goetz) Wagner. She married John W. Allison, and he died Aug. 10, 2006.
Surviving are the following children, Sue Ann (Harvey) Staib of Tiffin, Robert J. Allison of Tiffin and Charles G. Allison of Tiffin, plus two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Hart, in addition to her parents.
Evelyn worked in sales for 23 years for J.C. Penney in Tiffin. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Tiffin, where she belonged to St. John's Ruth Circle and Midday Fellowship at the church. She also was a graduate of the former Melmore High School.
Graveside services for Evelyn will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 30, 2015, at Greenlawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Eric Rummel officiating.
