SPRINGFIELD — The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at Thurston Christian Church for Margaret Alice Morse Endsley of Springfield, who died July 20 of natural causes. She was 89.

A reception will follow the funeral. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 24, at Buell Funeral Chapel, with burial at Alford Cemetery in Harrisburg.

She was born May 14, 1923, in Creswell, to Clay and Cecilia Blankenship Stone. She graduated from high school in Harrisburg.

She was the housewares manager at Montgomery Ward and then at Top Value stamp redemption store for 23 years. She worked for Alexander's Department Store and was a bookkeeper and secretary for a fabrication company until she retired.

Survivors include two sons, Lonne Morse of Springfield and Marvin Morse of Christmas Valley; a brother, Jim Stone of Albany; a sister, Connie Pace of Albany; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Morse, and a son, John Morse.
