Mrs. Bertha Guidry Foret, 92, of Groves, Texas died Saturday, July 10, 2004 at her home. She was born on April 20, 1912 in Port Neches, Texas to Ferness Guidry and Ida Meduse Guidry. She was a resident of Groves for over 71 years and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Reverend Don Golasinski of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Reverend Stephen McCrate of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary service conducted at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Foret is survived by four daughters, Teresa Tuohy, Janice Foret and Charlie Michon, and Barbara Welch all of Groves, Texas and Linda Baxter and husband James of Warren, Texas; four sons, James Forest and wife Nita, Bobby Foret and wife Gladys, and Richard Forest, all of Groves, Texas and Howard "Unkey" and wife, Linda Foret of Toledo Bend, Louisiana; eleven grandchildren, Jimmy Foret, Jamie Foret, Billy Joe Foret, Joe Paul Foret, Robert Lee Foret, Paul Wayne Foret, Ron Foret, Ray Tuohy, Eric Babin, Charlene O'Quinn, and Julie Babin; sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Mrs. Foret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Paul Foret, Sr. and her son, Joseph Paul Foret, Jr.
