Teresa Bell Foret Tuohy, 73, of Groves passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her residence.

Teresa was born on September 4, 1945 in Groves, TX, to parents Bertha (Guidry) and Joseph Paul Foret Sr.

Teresa graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School in 1964. She was a resident of Groves for the last 20 years and had worked with Gerlands Home Care as a caregiver for 10 years. She was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of Sweet Adelines Choir (barbershop choir).

Teresa enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, going for bike rides and going for long walks, hunting for recyclable goods. Teresa was a loving person who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Paul Foret, Bobby Foret, Richard Foret, James "Jim Ed " Foret and sister, Barbara Welch.

Teresa is survived by her son, Ray Tuohy and his wife, Mary Kay Ermel of Humble her grandchildren, Jonas and Presley Ermel, her brother, Howard "Unkey" Foret and his wife, Linda of Toledo Bend, her sisters, Linda Baxter of Warren, Janice Foret of Groves. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 5:30 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 4:30 PM until service time. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
