Allan H. "Bud" Kelton, 73, of 6a Duncan Drive died Wednesday at home. He was a 30-year Navy veteran, and retired in 1971 with the rank of lieutenant. He served in the Pacific theater during World War II. He worked for Prudential Life Insurance Co. in Jacksonville, Fla., for several years. He retired in 1978. Born in Northampton, he was a 1939 graduate of the Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls. He also attended the former Brattleboro, Vt., Business Institute. He moved here eight years ago. He leaves his wife of 50 years, the former Shirley E. Lowell; a son, and a daughter, A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday afternoon in Center Cemetery at Buckland. There are no calling hours, and Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home of Shelburne Falls is in charge. Memorial contributions may go to the Franklin County Hospice, 164 High St., Greenfield, 01301 [pub.
