Helen K. Wilson, 81, of 2A N. Texas St., Harrisburg, died 8:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg with the Rev. Roy Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 9, 1921 in Benton, Mo., to the late Corbett and Lucy Isabelle (Allen) Wilson. On Oct. 7, 1942, she married Gratton Wilson Jr., who preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1980.
She was a nurse's aide and a former member of Vision Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Robert E. (Debbie) Wilson of Harrisburg, Ted (Pat) Wilson of Vienna, Jerry "Willie" (Debbie) Wilson and Ron "Butch" (Phyllis) Wilson, both of Harrisburg; a daughter, Sue Clay of Harrisburg; a brother, Woodrow Wilson of Harrisburg; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Henrietta Winters and Hazel Wilson; three brothers, C.R. Weldon and Curtis Wilson and two grandchildren.
