Rose Elliott Cobb Baldridge, 76, the wife of Bob W. Baldridge, died Wednesday, July 21, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Marie Virginia Grow Cobb. Mrs. Baldridge attended Asbury College and was a member of Southland Evangelical Methodist Church, where she was the organist for more than 40 years.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter and her husband, Sharon Rose and Richard Hepner of Lexington; two sons and their wives, Bobby Ray and Lynndy Baldridge of Wilmore, and John W. and Lorraine Baldridge of Lexington; a brother and his wife, Ray and Anne Cobb of Lexington; a sister and her husband, Betty and Bill Burton; four grandchildren, Angela Rose Hepner, Mark Hepner, Luke Baldridge, and Javan Baldridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at noon on Saturday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington by the Rev. Richard Gaines, with burial following at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. obit 7/29/2004
