Rev. Bob Wesley Baldridge, 86, husband of Rachel Burberry Baldridge, died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Mayfair Manor in Lexington, Kentucky. Born September 4, 1929 in Hinton, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Roy and Virginia Bailey Baldridge. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years, Rose Cobb Baldridge. Rev. Baldridge was a Lafayette High School graduate, attended Taylor University, and graduated from Asbury College in 1951. Rev. Baldridge pastored the Evangelical Methodist Church in Covington, Kentucky before founding and pastoring for 52 years at the Southland Evangelical Methodist Church which is currently known as Pathway Church and Ministry Center. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Richard) Hepner, Lexington, KY; two sons, Bobby (Lynndy) Baldridge, Wilmore, KY and John (Lorraine) Baldridge, Lexington, KY; four grandchildren, Angela Hepner, Mark Hepner, Luke Baldridge and Javan Baldridge; two brothers, Jesse Baldridge and Kelly Baldridge; and one sister, Jenny Baldridge (Joe Southworth), all of Lexington, Kentucky. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County, Kentucky.
