Stevenson, Andrew M., was a son of Philo Stevenson and Lucena Elsworth, and was born at Middleboro, Vt., April 27, 1830. He came with his parents to Norwalk in 1833, then went to Peru and to Clarksfield in 1843. He went to California across the plains and lived there several years, then returned to Clarksfield and was married to Joanna Starr, December 8, 1868. He died January 25, 1902. From "The Firelands Pioneer" His wife, Joanna (Starr) Stevenson, is buried in the plot with Andrew.
