Amanda and George had one daughter, Malvena, born about 1840. George and Amanda separate. In the 1850 Census Malvena was living with her grandparents, Philo and Lucena. Malvena married William J. Foreman and by 1908 was a resident of Milton, Wisconsin.
Amanda joined her brothers, Andrew M. and Philo Oscar, and her cousin, Albert, in journeying to the California gold fields. She was married to J.C. Johnson in Washington Territory. Amanda and J.C had a daughter, Adena, who died at the age of three years and is buried in the Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
Amanda died February 14, 1871.
