Albert R. Gritton, 74, died Thursday, June 30, 1994, in his home after a lengthy illness. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Haylock-O'Hara & Lahey Funeral Home, Maquoketa, where friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Maquoketa.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice Strackbein of Lowden and Debra Harms of Aurora, Colo.; a stepdaughter, Patti Fahrenkrug of De Witt; a stepson, Jeff Adams of King Salem, Alaska; four sisters, Vella Dickinson, Ethel Safley and his twin, Alberta Dugger, all of Tipton, and Gladys King of Solon; and a brother, Howard of Clarence.
