Barbara Jane Bremsteller, loving mother, devoted wife, caring sister, trusted friend and neighbor, gardener and dog lover, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in Houston Tx.
Born to John and Elva Miller in 1932 in Wilmington Delaware, she grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from Mary Washington College, she married John D. Bremsteller and moved to Houston, Texas in 1963 where she and John established a successful life insurance business.
Preceded in death by her two parents, husband John, and son Barry, Barbara leaves behind her sons Johnny and Michael, brother Johnny, and grandchildren Max, Julian, Samantha, and Keanna.
Barbara lived life with a sincerity and wisdom found in few others.
She was a thoughtful listener, gifted with the ability to reach out and touch the lives of everyone she met. Her graciousness and generosity will always be an inspiration to those who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at noon Sunday June 3 at Earthman Funeral Home in Bellaire, with a viewing beginning at 11am.
