Rincon - Mrs. Mary Rahn Shuman Baker, 86, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Westview Nursing Center in Port Wentworth, GA. The Effingham County native was a member of Rincon First Christian Church. She retired from Solomon Drug Store as a bookkeeper. Survivors include her daughter, Kathaleen S. Brown of Loganville; sister and brother -in-law, Stella Rahn and William Arnsdorff of Garden City; three grandchildren, Richard Brown (Shirley) of Grayson, Tina Stephens (Rodney) of Loganville, and David Braswell (Diane) of Chiefland, FL; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Rincon First Christian Church, Rincon, GA. Mrs. Baker will lie in state from 10 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Savannah, GA. Remembrances may be given to Rincon First Christian Church, 5835 Hwy. 21 S., Rincon, GA 31326.
