Abenicio "Ben" García, age 77, peacefully passed away at his family home on August 18, 2006 after a short illness.
Abenicio is survived by his wife of 59 years, Leonella "Lonnie" García, son, Anthony García, daughters, Agnes Sánchez and her husband, Leonard, Deanne Estrada, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and other family and friends who loved and will miss him.
Services will be held at Nativity Parish 9502 4th St. NW with Rosary to be recited on Monday, August 21, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. and Mass on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Freddie Estrada, Michael Bachicha, Michael Sáiz, Tomas Ruiz, Mario García and Vincent Sánchez.
