Anthony C. García passed away peacefully at a local hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his family, on November 7, 2007.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Abenicio "Ben" García.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Leonella "Lonnie" García, one daughter, Antoinette García, two sisters, Agnes Sánchez and Dionne Estrada, six grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will take place on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., also at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Freddie Estrada, Mike Bachicha, Vincent Sánchez, Gene Sáiz, Mario García and Danny García.
