Alberta Mills Bell, 73, of Charlottesville, Virginia, departed this life at the Hospice House.
She was born in Albemarle County, the daughter of the late, Purrell and Dorothy Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bell. Two brothers, Robert Lee mills and Thomas Mills preceded him in death. She was generous and loving to all who knew her.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, eating a good meal, listening to good music, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Mary Bell and Barbara Ann Bell of Charlottesville, two sons, Alan Charles "A.C." Bell and Gerald Bell; four brothers, Sidney Jasper, James Jasper, Elmore Jasper, and Bobby Jasper; six sisters, Lily Mae Jasper, Claire Toland, Ida Jasper, Rosa Smith, Bettey Ann Jasper and Ada Roberts; a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Friday, May 25, 2012, at the J. F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Mary Smith officiating.
