ANDERSON - Anne L. Wright, 73, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at her residence.
She was born June 22, 1930, in Vincennes, the daughter of Harold and Louise (Hager) Carter. She lived most of her life in Anderson.
In 1993, she retired from St. John's Medical Center as a supervisor of medical records after 26 years of employment.
She was a member of Fifth Street United Methodist Church and American Medical Records Association. She was a volunteer at St. John's Children's Clinic and at Servite Appalachian Mission in Hazard, Ky.
She is survived by her three children, Paula Wright Pollitt of Hope, Brad Wright of Anderson and Kim Wright (husband, Paul) Brockman of Batesville; two granddaughters, Jennifer (husband, Bob) Beiers of Greenwood and Julie (husband, Eric) Lierman of Anderson; sister, Sharon (husband, Gene) Jackson of Portland; brother, John (wife, Glenna) Carter of Vincennes; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Wright; brothers, Jerry Carter and Donald Carter; and sister, Peggy Eaton.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Wolford officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fifth Street United Methodist Church.
