She was born in Marion, the daughter of the late Boyd Botkin and Martha (Miller) Newell of Warren. She married Edward Charles Haggerty Aug. 23, 1958 in Marion.
Mrs. Haggerty was a member of Hillside Wesleyan Church, Marion. She had formerly worked for Kitco, Bluffton for ten years and was also a homemaker.
Survivors include mother, Martha (Miller) Newell, Warren; sons, Steve (Robin) Haggerty, LaFontaine, Mike (Stacy) Haggerty, Warren, Tim Haggerty, Fort Wayne; sisters, Kathy Peckinpaugh, Fla., Suzie Donaldson and Rhea Smart, both of Marion; brother, Nick Botkin, Indianapolis; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Charles Haggerty; father, Boyd Botkin and daughter, Lisa Stockman.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday in Glancy-H. Brown and Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren with Pastor Gary Bingham officiating. Interment is in Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
