Mrs. Sarah Anderson, wife of Elijah Anderson, of Newman, IL, died August 9, 1882 of typhoid fever. She was born June 15, 1831, and was married to Elijah Anderson September 3, 1848. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the M.E. Church and was a consistent Christian. The remains were interred in the Albin Cemetery. The following brothers and sisters were present: E.D. Anderson, Joseph Anderson, H.C. James, Mrs. Mary Jenks, of this county. The funeral was preached by Rev. J.R. Reasoner.
