Mrs. Anna E. Carver, 82, 2507 Sylvanie Street, died this morning at a St. Joseph hospital.

A native of Easton, she had resided in St. Joseph many years. She was a member of Francis Street Methodist Church Women's Society of Christian Service, Pleiades Chapter of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, Eclipse Rebekah Chapter, Auxiliary Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers, Burlington Veterans, and Old Timers No. 7.

She is survived by her husband, John S. Carver; two sons, John Alvin White, St. Joseph, and George E. White, St. Joseph; three stepsons, Woodrow Carver Watsonville, Cal, Harold K. Carver, St. Joseph, and Robert E. Carver, St. Joseph; one step-daughter, Mrs. Louis V. Patton, St. Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Charles M. Long, Decatur, Ill., and Mrs. Harry Skaggs, Kansas City, Mo., six grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Heaton-Bowman mortuary.

CARVER SERVICES

Services for Mrs. Anna E. Carver, 82, 2507 Sylvanie Street, will be tomorrow at 2:30 at the Heaton-Bowman chapel, 319 South 10th Street. The Rev. Ted E. Akers will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Carver died Thursday morning at a St. Joseph hospital. A native of Easton, she had resided in St. Joseph for many years where she had been active in many civic affairs.
