Mary Ellen Beall Mary Ellen Beall, 70, of Harrisville, WV, Died, Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at her home. Mary Ellen was born July 28, 1941, in Morgantown, WV, the daughter of the late Leonard D. and Mabel (Propst) Humphreys. She was a graduate of University High School in 1959. Mary Ellen attended Mountain State College for 2 years. After college, she worked in the Ritchie County Extension Office for eight years before beginning her 30 plus year career at Huntington National Bank where she served as the head teller and worked in the customer service department. She was a 50 plus year member of the St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Harrisville where she served on numerous committees, served as the financial secretary, helped prepare many church meals, and most recently very active in the Wednesday Food & Friendship Luncheons. Mary Ellen was also a member of the Harrisville Woman's Club for many years. She was also the co-owner and founder of Beall Monuments in Harrisville and was the founder of the Christmas lighting project at the Harrisville Town Park. She was an big fan and supporter of WVU and the local sporting programs in Ritchie County and she loved and cared for the people of Ritchie County dearly. She is survived by her two children, Larry Beall and Pamela Morton, both of Harrisville; grandchildren, Rachel & Ryan Morton and Dylan Beall; brothers in law, Milo Beall (Linda) and Paul Beall, both of Harrisville; nieces, Chanda Garrett (Travis) of Harrisville and Julie (Jody) Freeland of Pennsboro, WV; great niece and nephews, Mykayla & Austin Garrett and Andrew & Jonathan Freeland, along with her special friend and neighbor, Ilse Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J. Bernard Beall who passed away on March 20, 2011 and her father and mother in law, Blair & Gertrude Beall. Funeral services will be 11am, on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville with Rev. John Frum and Rev. John Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisville IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 3pm-9pm on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bernard & Mary Ellen Beall Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of Huntington Bank, 121 North Court Street, Harrisville.
