Phares M. Weibley Jr., 48, of 668 Hebrank St., died at 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of three weeks. He was the husband of the late Mildred V. Mattern. He was born in Lancaster, son of Rose Weidinger of Lancaster and the late Phares M. Weibley. He was employed 29 years as a tool and die maker with Raybestos-Manhattan, Manheim. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy, and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Surviving are his mother, three daughters, Barbara F., wife of John J. Kiely Jr., Lancaster; Susan R. and Mary T., both at home; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Jeannette E., wife of Albert G. Nickel Sr., Forest Hill, Md.; and Dorothy J. Snyder, Lancaster.
