Death Claims Daisy Alexander; Rites Today.
Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Meda Alexander, 66, who passed away at her home two and one-half miles south of New Pittsburgh Sunday morning at 8:30 o'clock following an illness of three years duration, will be held at the Praise Chapel church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. R.A. Walling officiating and Russel Castle assisting.
She was born Jan. 29, 1878, the daughter of Thomas and Amanda (Jessup) Byrum. On March 6, 1897 she was married to Thomas Alexander who survives her.
Also surviving are one son, Elmer R., three and one-half miles south of New Pittsburgh, one brother, George Byrum, northeast of Portland, and one sister, Mrs. Della Ankst of Union City.
Interment will be in the Lisbon cemetery. The body has been returned to the home from the Williamson funeral home in Portland where friends may call.
