Mrs. Samuel E. Newton died Tuesday
morning of last week after a very painful
illness of cancer of the stomach. The
funeral was held Thursday afternoon at
the Episcopal church, Rev. Arthur Stone
officiating. the remains were interred in
Lyndon Centre cemetery. She leaves a
husband and three children who have the
sympathy of many friends in their
bereavement.
George and Samuel Amadon of Grange
N. H., John Simonds of St. Johnsbury
and Joseph Amadon of New Ireland, P.
Q., were in town last week to attend the
funeral of Mrs. Samuel Newton.
