Telpher Emerson Campbell, 87, of Paragould, AR., died Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Campbell was born February 2, 1924 in Marmaduke. He was the founder of Campbell Termite and Pest Control. A member of 7th & Mueller Church of Christ, he helped to start their Bus Ministry and was the first director of Compassion Outreach at 7th & Mueller.

Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by: his parents, Troy Robert and Susan Catherine Campbell; his wife, Alidean Campbell; one son, Telpher "Butch" Campbell; one daughter, Deborah Lynn Hyde; three brothers, Vernon, Wayne and Virgil Campbell; one sister, Wanda "Tiny" Camp; and one grandson, John Campbell.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Shannan Prince and her husband, Chad, Bobbie Jo Hyde, all of Paragould, and Tooter Orren of Tennessee; one Brother, Robert Campbell of Paragould; and three sisters, Ellison Weatherford of Hanford, California, Phyllis Rorex of Durham, North Carolina, and Margaret Khoury of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Donna Campbell; and a son-in-law, Jerry Hyde, both of Paragould.

Funeral services were at 7th & Mueller Church of Christ. Burial was in Greene County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
