Robert Joel Campbell, 82, passed away peacefully from this life on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on February 19, 1941, to the late Troy and Susie Campbell in Marmaduke, Arkansas.

Bob married his sweet wife Charlotte Ann Overman Campbell on July 1, 1961. They remained by each other's side for 62 years.

He was a member of the 7th and Mueller Church of Christ where he and his wife attended together for 62 years. Bob enjoyed preaching over the years and also he loved to teach the adult Bible Class.

Bob was very well known in his community and his family for his valued work ethic. He remained employed well into 2023 at 82 years of age until his illness had to slow him down. He worked for Campbell's Termite and Pest Control and Terminix for a combination of 59 years.

He was devoted to his family and he was so proud of them. He would often be found in the nearest rocking recliner holding a grandbaby or great grandbaby.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Susie Campbell; brothers, Wayne Campbell, Vernon Campbell, Virgil Campbell, and Telpher Campbell; sisters, Ellison Weatherford, Margaret Khoury, and Wanda (Tiny) Camp; and a son, Chad Campbell.

Bob is survived by his wife, Charlotte Ann Overman Campbell of the home; children, Greg Campbell, Susie and Johnny McCarroll, Tim and Sheryl Campbell; grandchildren, Aaron and Lindsey Campbell, Katie and Jason Osburn, Ross and Katy Campbell, Hilary and Zac Qualls, Cody Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Abbe' and Scott Utter, Blake and Chelsey McCarroll, River and Zach White, Tucker and Elisabeth Campbell, Aysia and Wilson Miskelly; great-grandchildren, Sutton Campbell, Scottie Campbell, Emmett Osburn, Sophia Osburn, Ava Osburn, Liam Campbell, Raegan Campbell, Campbell Denise Qualls, Turner Qualls, Lucy Utter, Charlie Utter, Griffin McCarroll, Tucker McCarroll, Campbell Ray White, Miles White, and Flora Kay White.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 21, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at 7th and Mueller Church of Christ. The funeral service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, at 7th and Mueller Church of Christ with Larry McFadden and Danny Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Aaron Campbell, Ross Campbell, Blake McCarroll, Cody Campbell, Tucker Campbell, Kyle Campbell, and Jagger Brogdon will serve as pallbearers.
