Lawrence Edward Biggs, 76, was born on September 24, 1935 in Guthrie, OK to Ralph and Lucille Biggs. He went to be with his Lord Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

Lawrence was a loving husband of 58 years to Sharron Biggs of Guthrie. He was a father like no other could be to his three children.

Lawrence worked at Homeland for 32 years and when he retired, he did what he enjoyed most – hunting, fishing, and loved to talk to people. He was also voted "Guthrie's Best Handyman" for three years.

Lawrence was the caller for The Territorial Squares square dance club for 23 years where Sharron and he met their second family of wonderful friends.

He is survived by his wife Sharron of the home; his children Eddie Biggs and Karen of Butler, MO, Ronnie Biggs and wife Rhonda of Crescent, OK, and Evelyn Towle and husband Jim of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Jerry Biggs and wife Judy of Arlington, TX; six grandchildren Shannon Martin and husband Jimmy of Yukon, OK, Jamie Winters and husband JJ of Guthrie, Brandon Biggs and wife Dianna of Guthrie, Heather Cook and husband Mathew of Cashion, OK, Chase Biggs of Albuquerque, NM, and BriAnna Biggs of Butler, MO; and nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Ralph Biggs, mother Lucille Biggs, step-mother Zella Biggs, sister Mary Louise Williams, and brothers James Biggs and Harold Biggs.
