Christian services are Friday
Funeral services for Margaret Rightmer Christian, who died on Wednesday, will be held on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. at Seydler-Hill Chapel, Dr. R. C. Hammock will officiate, with interment in the City cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Knandel, James Powell, Vill Christian, David Fluitt, Leonard Fluitt and Steve Keyser.
Mrs. Christian was born on Dec. 2, 1908 in Hamby, to Wallace F. and Elizabeth E, Frierson Ray, both natives of Fayette county.
She was married to James Maness Christian on April 4, 1953 in Gonzales and was a member of the First Baptist church. She joined the Muldoon Baptist church at the age of 15, moving her membership to First Baptist in June of 1937.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, John W. Rightmer of Oliphant of Poteet and Thelma White.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband John B. Rightmer.
