MRS. NELLIE ALLEN
Mrs. Nellie E. Allen, 72, of 513 South Sheridan avenue, died at 6:30 a.m. today at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Dommer of Blakesburg, Route 2.
Mrs. Allen had lived in Ottumwa and Wapello county for the past 60 years, and was a charter member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
She was born June 20, 1885, at Solomon, Kansas, the daughter of Charles B. and Ellen M. [Rupe] Blake.
Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Greta Dommer of Blakesburg Route 2, and Mrs. Ivan Fisher of Queen City, Missouri; nine grandchildren, two great-grandsons and a niece, Mrs. Louise Morey of Columbus, Ohio.
Her husband, Jacob Allen, died in 1938. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Miller and by three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene in charge of the Rev. Harold Henry. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
The casket will be taken from the Johnson Funeral Chapel to the church, at 11 a.m. Saturday.
