Greta Elizabeth Dommer, 90, of 209 S. Moore died Jan. 30, 1997, at her home.

She was born Aug. 21, 1906, in Ottumwa to John and Nellie Blake Ours Sr. She married Wilfred H. Dommer on May 23, 1925, in Fairview.

Her class was the first to graduate from Ottumwa High School, in 1924. She as a charter member of First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday school for many years, was past president of the Missionary Society, church organist and pianist, choir member and member of Primetimers class.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Wil Dommer of Edmond, Okla., and Rayner Dommer of Ottumwa; three daughters, Ruth Miller of Bloomfield, Alice Thomas of Peoria, Ariz., and Adeline Dommer of Ottumwa; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and a brother,
John Ours Jr. of Chetek, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stanley Dommer; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Miller and Ivah Fischer.

The service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Alexander-Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Grover Branson officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel with family present from 2 to 4 p.m.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
