She was the widow of Benjamin Joseph Ambrose and a member of Monroe Bay Assembly of God.
Surviving are her on, Ben Ambrose; two daughters, Jo Ann Powers of Colonial Beach and Lynne Gray of Esmont; a brother, William Washington of Stafford County; two sisters, Mamie Castle of Colonial Beach and Helen Ambrose of Stafford; a half brother, Melvin Lucas of Georgia; a half-sister Anna Wooten of Highland Springs; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held August 21 at Monroe Bay Assembly of God with Rev. Ralph Dixon officiating. Burial was in Historyland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Colonial Beach Rescue Squad, 225 Dennison St., Colonial Beach, Va. 22443.
