Funeral service for Mrs. Radna Esther Isholm Vickers, age 75 of Goodwater, Alabama will be Friday, October 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Comer Memorial United Methodist Church in Alexander City. She will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Lynn Peters will officiate. Burial will follow at Hackneyville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2002 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vickers died October 14, 2002 at Druid City Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. She was born in Iceland to father Sigurður Pétur Íshólm Klemensson (1894-1970) & mother Kristjana Erlendsdóttir. She worked as a caregiver and was a member of Comer Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann LeMaster and her husband Fred of Tuscaloosa, AL; son, Jack Vickers and his wife Patricia of Hackneyville, AL; five grandchildren, Kristianna LeMaster Gibbs and her husband Curtis, Heather LeMaster, Jonathan LeMaster all of Tuscaloosa and Kimberly Vickers of Greenville, AL. (Surviving biological son Robert Benson Allen of Portland, Oregon)
