Nancy Crowder Cochran, 71, Carmel, formerly of Sullivan, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003. She was born on Dec. 13, 1931 in Sullivan to Dr. James Harvey Crowder and Victoria (Houpt) Crowder. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper and manager for the Crowder Farms. She was a 1949 graduate of Sullivan High School, a 1954 graduate of Indiana State University and attended the University of Wisconsin and Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She was a member of Tri Kappa, the Carmel Book Club and an avid bridge player. Nancy was a supporter of the Sullivan County Community Hospital, the First Presbyterian Church and the First Methodist Church. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include: daughter, Anne Wiebe of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; granddaughter, Sarah Wiebe of Canada; special friend and former husband, David Bowden of Leesburg, FL; and other relatives. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Holmes Memorial Chapel, Sullivan. with Rev. Paul McGlasson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until services Tuesday. Burial: Center Ridge Cemetery.
