Marjorie M. Buchholz, 80, Defiance, died at 9:12 p.m. Monday in Defiance Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 27, 1924, in Defiance County, the daughter of Clement and Regina (Weber) Moser. She married John Buchholz, who died in 1991. She was a cook at Holiday Lanes bowling alley for about 10 years and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society and member and past president of VFW Post 3360 Auxiliary.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Carol) Shafer and Teresa Willitzer, Defiance; three sons, Kenneth, Steve and Anthony, Defiance; a sister, Rita Stauffer, Hicksville; a brother, Curtis Moser, Reading, Mich.; and 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Edward; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
