Tony was born in Defiance, Ohio on May 27, 1962, he was the son of the late John W. and Marjorie (Moser) Buchholz.
In June 2002 he married Laura (Wright) Buchholz, who survives. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. A graduate of Defiance High School and worked as a supervisor at Independence State Dam for 23 1/2 years. Tony enjoyed boating, camping, cutting wood and his beloved dog Bear.
Surviving are his wife Laura, daughter Katelyne Wilson,
two sisters: Carol (Gary) Shafer, Teresa Willitzer and a brother Steve 'Cash' (Marilynn) Buchholz all of Defiance.
Brother in law Alan VanPelt of Pennsylvania, sister in laws: Cheryl Grover and Pam Hamrick both of Maryland, Laura's parents: Herb Mittelman of Maryland and Russ and Sue Seifert of Washington, Utah.
He is also survived by twin grandchildren: Aubree and Bradley Wilson and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Kenneth and Edward Buchholz.
Services will be at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21st, with Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating. Casual dress is requested.
Visitation is Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
