James Edward Allen, age 71, passed away April 8, 1994 following heart surgery at the Utah Valley Hospital. He was born September 10, 1922, in Pacolet, south Carolina to Joseph and Rosa Kirby Allen. He married Marjorie Faye Ellison November 9, 1945. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 29, 1965. She died June 14, 1985. He married Moneta Hill October 25, 1985. He is survived by his wife of Nephi; and his children: Charles Michael Gilbbert and wife Judy; Mrs. Ernest (June0 Hawkins; Mrs. Sheldon (Joy) Maughan; Mrs. Michael (Jan) Daley; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters; Margaret Hodge and Thelma White. he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Marie Odell, Jesse, Johnny, Lawerance, and Clyde (Hambone). Burial was April 12, 1994.
