Pacolet, SC - Funeral services for Lawrence J. Allen, of Pacolet, SC, who died on Tuesday morning, Feb. 3, 1954, at his residence following a lengthy illness, will be conducted Thursday, Fev. 5, 1959 at 3 p.m. at the Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. The Revs. Robert Ivey and W. T. Tate will officiate. He was a former employee of the Pacolet Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Joe Allen and Mrs. Rose Kirby Allen. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susie White Allen: one daughter, Mrs. Jo Anne Wells; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma White, Mrs. Margaret Hodge and Mrs. Odell Seay; four brothers, Jess, Clyde Lee, Johnny and James Allen, all of Pacolet, SC.
