Frankie was born Frances E. Thompson. Granddaughter of Frances Dixon-Thompson, and Plez. She was the daughter of Thomas F. Thompson and Melvina Hutcheson-Thompson. She was the sister of Velma Ruth Clifft and Elva Ava, who died as a child. She lived in Oxford, AR. She wrote a story about her father and contributed it and other information to the Matthew Dixon Genealogy 1776-1940, by Owen and Ruth Dixon.
