Leo W. Harter, 70-year-old retired Southern Pacific brakeman, died at 4 a.m. yesterday at his home in the Shady Acres Trailer Court, it was announced at the Johnson Mortuary.
He was born in Florence, Ariz., Aug. [sic] 5, 1891 and moved to Yuma 18 years ago. His wife Ethel, survives.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Yuma Cemetery.
There will be viewing hours for friends at the mortuary Monday night from 7 to 8:30."
Note: Born Oct. 5, 1891 according to both WWI and WWII draft registration cards, and death certificate.
