John Badham Dies

John F. Badham, 93, a retired farmer, died Friday afternoon at a Cedar Rapids hospital following a brief illness.

Born Feb. 6, 1860, in Rock Island county, Ill., he was married there to Henrietta Bowes July 15, 1885. They moved to Marion from Illinois about 1909. Mrs. Badham died in Marion in 1937. Mr. Badham retired from farming in 1919. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are two sons, Ernest E. Badham, Marion and Arthur L. Badham, Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Mrs. Mable Jayne, Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a half-brother, Newton Loobe of Milan, Ill.

Services will be conducted at the Yocom-Murdoch chapel Monday at 1:30 by the Rev. James P. Gable. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call at the chapel.

John Badham Dies
