Ernest Franklin Adcock, age 77, of Little Rock, formerly of Monticello passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011, at the VA Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born October 31, 1933 in Lake Village, AR to the late Garvin Adcock and Louella Byrd Maddox Adcock.

He was a retired teacher, principal, bus driver and farmer, at U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a Baptist. Mr. Adcock was also a 50-year Mason (Eureka Lodge), member of the Sahara Shrine, and member of the American Legion, VFW, UCT and the Bagmen of Baghdad. He was a graduate of Arkansas A&M College (now UAM) where he received a BS Degree in Math, History and Agriculture. He was also working on his master's degree at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Mr. Adcock was also preceded in death by a sister; two brother-in-laws; a grandson, Joseph Adcock and a niece, Tonya Adcock.

Survivors include his wife, Daisy Mae Marler Adcock of Little Rock; three sons, Archie Franklin Adcock and wife, Pam of Little Rock, Pete Adcock and wife, Brenda of Wilmar and Wayne Adcock and wife, Carolyn of Mabelvale; two daughters, Beverly Perry and husband, Danny of Hot Springs and Patty Nowlen and husband, Burton of Monticello; two brothers, Charles Edward Adcock and wife, Dovey of Bryant and William Garland Adcock and wife, Marie of Milo; one sister, Ella Mae Gorman of Desterhen, LA; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, a cousin, Frank Maddox and wife, Linda and numerous other cousins.
