Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Lockart and Sons Funeral Home, Cowden, with burial in Mound Cemetery, Cowden. Memorials may be given to the Seven County Kidney Fund in Springfield.
She was born April 21, 1902, in Fancher, the daughter of Charles R. and Milley Keller Chism. She married Carl L. Banning June 24, 1924, and he died Sept. 13, 1987.
Surviving are sons, Leo L. of Shelbyville and Roy Lane of Korea; one sister, Ruth Taylor of Beecher City; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One son, Donald; one daughter, Mary Ann; and one sister have preceded her in death.
