Leslie Robert Daugherty was born February 28, 1938 to Gilp and Lizzie (Taylor) Daugherty, Sr. in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away September 4, 2011 at the Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.
Survivors include: son Dennis Daugherty of White Bluff; daughter Jennifer Daugherty Hooper (Matthew) of White Bluff; brother Gilp Daugherty, Jr. (Rita) of White Bluff; and granddaughter Emme Elizabeth Hooper.
Besides his parents, Mr. Daugherty is preceded in death by brothers Joe, John, Oscar, and Lawrence Daughery, sisters Maudie Lee Sullivan and Elsie Daugherty, half sister Naomi Hutchinson, and infant sister Emmer Daugherty.
Mr. Daugherty was retired from Interstate Packaging where he worked as a mechanic. He was also a long-time volunteer fire fighter.
