PARIS, ILL -- Forrest E. Brown, 80, of Paris died at 10:05 p.m. Wed., June 3, 1998, in his residence. He was born March 18, 1918, in Edgar County to Herschel Brown and Ruth Howald Brown. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Erfft Brown; three sons, Dan Brown, Karl Brown and David Brown; one brother, Bill Brown; 3 sisters, Catherin Sturgell, Maxine Cochran and Joan Mattingly; six gandchildren: 3 stepgrandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Services are 10:30 a.m. Sat. in Stewart & Carroll Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial is in Vermilion Cem., with graveside military rites by American Legion Post 211 and Veterans of Foreighn Wars Post 3601. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today, with Masonic services at 7 p.m.
