Mrs. Clara M. Allen, 82, died 10:40 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Nursing Home, Mansfield, following an extended illness. Mrs. Allen formerly resided on North Elizabeth Street here.
Born April 21, 1881, in Allen County, she was a daughter of Philip and Mary (Haas) Klinger. Her husband, Harvey, died in 1951.
Surviving are a son, Harold of Mansfield; a granddaughter, Mrs. Bruce Funston of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Allen was a member of First United Church of Christ and the Ladies Aid.
Rev. Richard Vitz will conduct services 10 a.m. Friday in Chiles and Sons - Laman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
